Downtime in Screen Time helps you schedule breaks from your iPhone and specific apps, which can support a healthier bedtime routine.

How to Set Up Downtime

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Screen Time.
  3. Tap Downtime.
  4. Turn on Downtime.
  5. Choose Every Day or Customize Days.
  6. Set your start time, ideally one to two hours before bed.
  7. Set your end time after your wake-up time.
