Setting up a sleep schedule in the Health app helps establish consistent bedtime and wake-up times for better rest.

How to Set Up Your Sleep Schedule

  1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Browse at the bottom.
  3. Tap Sleep.
  4. Tap Get Started or Set Up Sleep.
  5. Set your sleep goal. Seven to nine hours is recommended for most adults.
  6. Choose your bedtime and wake-up time.
  7. Select which days this schedule applies to.
  8. Configure your Wind Down period, the time before bed to prepare for sleep.
  9. Tap Add to save your schedule.
